Welcome to Lyman Development Co.

Lyman Development Co. was organized in 1983 to serve as the land development subsidiary of the Lyman Companies. Its primary purpose was to develop high quality, competitively priced residential home sites throughout the greater Twin City metropolitan area. Our corporate themes over the years since our founding have been integrity and fair dealing, both with our builders and the communities in which we develop. Our goal is to leave each completed neighborhood as a source of pride for everyone involved. To date, we have developed over 4000 homesites in communities ranging from Lindstrom to Lakeville and from Buffalo to Western Wisconsin. We currently have homesites in all phases of development in Lindstrom, Victoria, Watertwon, Belle Plaine and River Falls, WI.

Lyman Development Co. creates "neighborhoods" for people and not "developments". We initially focused on quality single family detached neighborhoods and targeted our customer base to the small to medium sized professional homebuilder. With the growth of the townhome marketplace over recent years, we also entered the multi-family site development arena and are currently working with a broad spectrum of the townhome homebuilding community on their site development needs.

Depending on marketplace conditions and location, Lyman Development Co. markets its single family neighborhoods as either "open" to all builders or "closed" to a selected group of compatible builders. Townhome neighborhoods are sold on an exclusive basis to selected builders. Our marketing efforts reflect Lyman's philosophy of integrity and our goal of building long term customer relationships.
